Tandag City, Nov 11,2022. The Accountancy department of this school got a big boost yesterday when the evaluation and monitoring team of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy headed by Hon. Gervacio I. Piator, CPA DM and Miss Cherry Mae A. Mamasu,CPA, MPA and member from the Professional Regulatory Commission of Region XIII visited the school to conduct an ocular inspection as required by the Accountancy Law of 2004.

composed of PICPA Chapter Officers, Accounting practitioners, and BOT member Manolito R. Tayao, CPA while Dean Calvin R. Sillar, CPA, MBA of the Accountancy department presented the school administration, faculty, staff and some graduating students.
Piator who hails from Mindanao said that the purpose of the visit is “to help improve your Accountancy program and increase the passing percentage in the years to come”. He later on held an audience with the Accountancy students and discussed the Financial Accounting and Reporting Table of Specification (TOS) for the Board which he described as one of the most competitive exams requiring high-order skills. He took notice of the school performance in the past examinations for producing twenty-two Board passers since its inception in 2006 under the previous Dean Matilde S. Gascon, CPA, MSBA.
It was also noted that in October 2022 Board Exam for the Certified Public Accountants, Dale Faith M. Valiente was the sole passer. Other candidates like Glory Mae R. Roma and Marife S. Bautista passed the Certified Tax Technicians exam in June 2022, Jesse Ann A. Montilla for Registered Cost Accountant exam in Sept. 2022 and together with Judy Lyn M. Tugbo for the Certified Bookkeeper exam in June 2022. Meanwhile 2 graduates, namely: Dominic A. Paquiding and Joneshiel E. Pazo passed the June 2022 Civil Service examination.
In the afternoon, school President Fr. Glenn C. Infiesto, DCT thanked the team and assured the support of the administration during the exit conference and closing program. “We are truly honored to have encountered great people who will help us fulfill our aspirations and direct the course of our action in reaching our goals”, Dean Sillar of Accountancy department concluded.
